I’m an ex-punk rocker from London and I’ve always had a love affair with photography. When tourists weren’t taking photos of me in my punky poses, I was shooting film myself, and loved nothing more than spending hours playing in my darkroom.
I worked for a national newspaper shooting celebrities behaving badly (don’t ask!) and was commissioned by the Museum of London to shoot a 2 year project for their archives, documenting the diverse range of people living there at the time. This amazing opportunity shaped the photographer that I have become – capturing candid photos, real people and real moments…….
After leaving London I found myself a kiwi husband (rather he found me!) on the ski slopes of France and we spent years traveling the world doing ski seasons before finally settling in Wanaka.
I love skull-related accessories (long live the inner punk!) and Alexander McQueen. I appreciate the finer things in life…. like table tennis and Otago pinot. I work in reverse: sleeping in, and working late so its best to stay clear of me until I’ve had my mid-morning caffeine hit. After that Im all yours!
