Bonnie & Austin’s story began when they met back in Charleston, South Carolina, just before Bonnie was due to move to New Zealand. They had only known each other a short time, but after Bonnie left for New Zealand, Austin took a bit of a leap of faith, and decided to pack up his bags and join her country that a few months prior he never imagined himself living in! That decision, scary as it may have been at the time, paid of big time!!! Seven years later they are back in the country where they fell in love…. standing on top of a mountain overlooking Lake Wanaka… pledging to spend the rest of their lives together. I can honestly say there wasn’t a dry eye at the ceremony!!

Now living in New York, Austin manages a boutique cheese shop and Bonnie is a scientist (the work that she does is amazing.. but far too complicated for us to explain properly!). You can just tell that these guys are going to be the kind of couple who will always welcome you into their home for a cup of tea, glass of wine, or a selection of incredible cheeses that Austin is so passionate about… and we wish we lived closer!! We absolutely loved everything about planning their beautiful day…. so a huge thanks to this gorgeous couple for being the amazing people that they are xxx
