It feels very surreal thinking of the March weddings we were busy finalising just 6 short weeks ago. Looking back, it’s mind boggling to think we had no idea how things were about to change. Covid 19 was very much world news, but it seemed like such a distant prospect that for most of us in New Zealand and Australia, we didn’t consider it too much.

Corrie & Luke were so very lucky to be able to celebrate with their family and friends before the world went into lockdown. And we in turn were so lucky to have been able to plan such a special day for them! We know just how deeply they appreciate that, and how much it has meant to them. It must have been one of the windiest days of the year (check out the water being blown off the lake in the first photo!), but they went with the elements and it certainly didn’t get in the way of any of those incredible smiles!

Our hearts go out to all of our couples whose weddings have had to be postponed. Let’s keep looking to the future, and to a time when we can all celebrate again. We are still full steam ahead planning all of the details for your day…. and believe us, we are just as excited as you are for when that day will be!!
