Rachel & Danny’s pre-wedding shoot was thrown a curve ball with one of the many summer storms that swept through Lake Wanaka right at the time that they were meant to be flying to a local mountain top. Not to be disheartened by the crazy weather, we swiftly came up with a ‘Plan B’, and true to form of ‘Plan B’s… it ended up being equally as spectacular as ‘Plan A’ could have been! Danny is a pilot, and so it only seemed fitting to pop by Wanaka’s Classic Flights for some photos infront of their beautiful old planes. How dapper does he look in his element?! And Rachel, what more can we say….. she is simply a beauty (inside and out)! Thankfully the storm started to clear, and they set off to the historic (and sheltered!) Cardrona township for some photos alongside the old buildings and then to the late season lupins that decorate the valley floor. They finished off the shoot on the shores of Lake Wanaka, where Rachel changed into one of the most stunning red dresses we’ve ever seen for the final photos.
Rachel & Danny, we wish you all the happiness in the world for your future together, and we can’t wait to see photos of your wedding back in Singapore. Thank you for being such a super relaxed couple in the face of the crazy summer weather we have been having. You make a truly amazing team and we couldn’t be happier for you xxx
